Two new loaves of Sourdough!
As promised, here are the pictures. Both of them were made in loaf pans.
The flavor on the one I cut open is definitely more sour, but also somehow more subtle. And the texture isn't quite as heavy as the last few times I made sourdough.
I used a recipe from the King Arthur Whole Wheat cookbook for these, and was quite happy with it.

You're back! I didn't think you were posting anything anymore so I had deleted you from my blogroll! I'll add you to my new "recommended sites" page later today. Glad to see you're back and the bread looks great!
I had neglected my starter for a really long time too and I recently brought it back to life and mine is better than before also! I made loaves with half whole wheat/half all-purpose the other day and I think they were the best I've ever made.
Yeah, I was a little busy there for a bit. Class and work and what not got in the way. And the starter had been neglected so long everytime I thought about making sourdough, I thought "but then I'll have to revive the starter..." and it got pushed to the side ;)
